Downtown Houston is in for a summer of fun with all of the events this City has to offer. It has been reported in their findings of our underground infrastructure, 43 percent of our sewer pipes have experienced previous blockage. The City has put together a system to monitor sewer overflows both publically and privately. This system is simply called the collection system monitoring/alerting. This will detect and quickly identify sources of overflow in a timely manner.
